Pete Alonso
Pete “Polar Bear” Alonso grew up in Tampa, Florida, where he attended Henry B. Plant High School. Pete then played three seasons for the Florida Gators before being drafted in the 2nd round of the 2016 MLB Draft. He tore up the Minor Leagues making his MLB debut in 2019. Pete had a Rookie Season for the ages hitting .260 while leading the MLB with 53 home runs. In 2019, Pete made his first All Star appearance and won the Rookie of the Year Award.
